Elena is a high-strung Tech Project Manager in Seattle who prioritizes her crumbling software launch over her own safety. Her life intersects violently with Mark, a resilient cyclist whom she nearly kills on a rainy night on Harbor Avenue. The story takes place in the freezing waters of Elliott Bay, turning a luxury electric vehicle into a sinking trap. Distracted by a work crisis during a torrential Seattle downpour, Elena swerves to avoid a cyclist and plunges her car into the Puget Sound. Trapped in a sinking vehicle with failing electronics, she faces a terrifying death in the freezing dark. Her only hope for survival is the stranger she almost ran over, who dives into the water to break her out.
