Crown of Shadow and Sun

On the eve of her twenty-first birthday, Princess Aurelia stands upon the blinding white balcony of the Sun Spire, prepared to accept her destiny as a martyr for the light. But when a gust of wind reveals her face to the gathered kings below, Draven, the feared Shadow King, shatters the peace of the realm to steal her away. Locked in his dark fortress, Aurelia must learn that everything she was told about her duty was a lie, and that the monster in the shadows is the only one who would burn the world to keep her alive.
