Synopsis
Air-dropped into the hostile, freezing alien tundra of the Obsidian Wastes for a grueling fourteen-day survival trial, fifteen-year-old Orion is immediately ambushed by bullies, stripped of his gear, and left to die. Rescued by a cynical senior cadet named Jax, Orion must survive the lethal environment, predatory beasts, and his own painful suppressed genetics to find self-acceptance and save the only friend he has ever known.
