Synopsis
In the city of Ouroboros, magic is a transaction: good deeds earn gold, and sins manifest as physical rot. The aristocracy survives by illegally siphoning their rot onto the poor. When the High Council plans a catastrophic "Purge" to clear their debts, Elara must infiltrate the Grand Ledger to stop it, only to find her husband standing in her way—or so she thinks.
